Pending Files Sorted

After a “break” over the past 2 months here at MM2X, I decided to look at the queue of pending screenshots, downloads, etc. ? it was big. I’ve gone through all those files and either added them to the site or deleted them. However, I have some important issues to address that I’ve addressed many times before.

First off, Bitmap screenshots. I ask you to stop uploading files in this format, they are big, take up space & bandwith, and make the page take forever to load. Rather, save files in JPEG format. To do this, simply change the File Type on the “Save As” dialogue from .bmp to .jpg. I also want to point out that there are many screenshots stolen from other websites ? some even still had the “CentralGaming” logo on them. Nice try. While we’re at it, if you don’t have a good description or title for your screenshot, don’t submit it. Not to mention any names [XLR]8or but yeah.

Second, the Broken Files page. Every single file ever reported as corrupted or missing is invariably still there. Stop abusing this feature or it will be taken away from you.
